We merged AT&amp;T Call Protect and AT&amp;T mobile security apps into a single mobile app. It is a free mobile app to help you easily secure your personal data, help block spam calls, and more.

All AT&amp;T wireless customers can benefit from the free AT&amp;T ActiveArmor mobile security app.* You must have:

Download the free app from the Apple App store or Google Play Store, read and accept the terms and conditions. Once installed, open the app, and begin customizing your mobile security preferences.

You can upgrade very easily using the Add-ons menu via the myATT or via the app store specific to your phone.

They&rsquo;ll help you easily secure your personal data, block spam calls, and more. We moved the Call Protect features to the AT&amp;T ActiveArmor mobile security app. You can see your existing call control settings in the new app, plus free data security features. Just open your existing app and follow the prompts to update to the AT&amp;T ActiveArmor mobile security app.

In addition to your existing data security features, you now have call security features in one app. You can customize your call routing settings to flag, block, or send any or all spam risk and telemarketing calls to voicemail.

The call security features are powered by the AT&amp;T network and support your number, not your device, so you are still protected even after you change phones. Plus, AT&amp;T ActiveArmor mobile security includes automatic fraud call blocking that&#39;s not available in any other security app.

You will receive alerts and helpful tips if any of the personal IDs you supply are on the dark web. We scan the dark web for the following types of ID:

	<li>Email addresses (up to ten)</li>
	<li>U. S. Phone numbers (up to three)</li>
	<li>Driver&#39;s license</li>
	<li>Medical insurance numbers (up to two)</li>
	<li>Passport number</li>
</ul>

	<li>Open Wi-Fi connections may exist in cafes, restaurants, hotels, airports, or other locations you frequent.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Public Wi-Fi Protection helps protect your personal data when you&#39;re using an open (unencrypted) Wi-Fi connection. It&rsquo;s your own virtual private network (VPN) to stop threats before they get to you.</li>
	<li>Public Wi-Fi Protection creates a tunnel for your data when you are using an open Wi-Fi hotspot to help protect you during important tasks like email, financial transactions, browsing the web, or any online activity that you don&rsquo;t want to share.</li>

Note: When you roam internationally, Public Wi-Fi Protection works with iPhones but not Android devices.

It means your data connection isn&rsquo;t safe or encoded to conceal your data to prevent unauthorized access to it. Unencrypted data sent over the internet can be intercepted by hackers.

A Wi-Fi alert is sent to notify you whenever a Wi-Fi network you join appears to be risky or possibly under attack. The Wi-Fi Alerts feature automatically detects when your device connects to a new network and runs a series of health checks on that new network to ensure that it&rsquo;s behaving properly. If the network is deemed unsafe, the app will provide you with step-by-step instructions detailing how to disconnect from the network.

Safe Browsing checks websites for known malware and phishing attacks. Safe Browsing enables you to browse the web on your device with confidence when you click on links from social media sites, pop-up ads, and more. The Safe Browsing feature and AT&amp;T network keep you safe from known phishing and malware websites by automatically flagging unsafe websites to protect your privacy and sensitive data.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Note: Safe Browsing requires activation of Public Wi-Fi Protection.&nbsp;

No, while the Safe Browsing VPN service should always be running when Safe Browsing is enabled, it stays in a dormant state until URL traffic is detected from apps on your device. At that point Safe Browsing inspects each URL you visit to ensure it&rsquo;s not malicious. Once the traffic stops, Safe Browsing goes back to its dormant state.

The ActiveArmor advanced mobile security app scans the operating system, files, and apps on your device to look for certain threats, such as malware or viruses. If malware is found, you&rsquo;ll receive an alert with instructions on how to remove it.&nbsp;

Note: Apps and files aren&rsquo;t automatically deleted when threats are detected. You&rsquo;re responsible for taking the necessary actions to remove or repair any detected threats.

Smartphones and your personal information are valuable targets for thieves.
