LikedLoved the location. I walked everywhere, even to a neighboring hotel for my bus tour around the island.

LikedThe staff: they went above and beyond, and location: right in the middle of everything (walkable)

DislikedBathrooms were wayyyyy to small. Also, they're system was down and reaching anyone that could help via phone rarely worked so we had to wait in long lines for the front desk.

LikedBreakfast was good most of time, eggs were not always available for some reason.

DislikedRoom service was poor. After 2 days room was serviced when we made request. Appears rooms only service if you request for it. Beds made towels replaced but no general tidy up was done. Empty wine glasses left in room often. Not vacuumed much.

DislikedI'm really sorry to say, but staying at the Alohilani Resort was a big letdown for us, and honestly, I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. Right from the start, checking in was a nightmare. Their system was down, and it seemed like the staff had no clue how to handle it. What should've been quick took us an entire hour with the staff trying all sorts of things. They even charged our deposit twice, and we're still waiting to get that money back. We paid extra for an "Ocean View" room, thinking we'd get this awesome view of the ocean. Turns out, the ocean was barely visible, tucked away in a tiny corner of our window. Most of what we saw was just buildings. If that's their idea of an ocean view, I can't even imagine what a "Partial Ocean View" looks like. The room itself was missing a lot of the basics. No one told us we had to ask for things like slippers, which seems like a small thing but makes a big difference in comfort. We ended up walking over the not-so-clean carpet barefoot for days. And there were no water bottles in the room, so we had to go out and buy our own—just another inconvenience we didn’t expect. The swimming pool was being fixed up, so we couldn't use half of it. This left us with just one crowded pool that wasn't very clean. But the real headache was trying to use the laundry machines. None of our credit cards worked because of a “connection error.” We spent forever trying to get it to work, even got a maintenance person involved, but no luck. When we finally went to the manager, we met Ernest, who was probably the most unhelpful, rude and condescending person there. He just made things worse and didn’t seem to care one bit about the trouble we were going through. Overall, this place just isn't worth it. There are so many better hotels that'll give you more bang for your buck. We're definitely not coming back here and suggest you look elsewhere too.

LikedHotel in downtown and very close to beaches. Nice and modern design. We had a great view on ocean. It remains a big hotel which prevents close relationships with staff.

DislikedWe were at 36th level which is impressive specially when on balcony.
